What Does Srixon Mean?
Our name comes from three sources:
SRI Sumitomo Rubber Industries X Unlimited, Dreams for the Future ON Going onwards
Srixon Z-UR
New for 2005 The Z-UR features all the power of Srixon technology harnessed into our longest, most playable tour performance ball yet. It features an incredible membrane-thin urethane elastomer cover, which surrounds the largest, fastest energetic gradient growth core we have ever developed. A proprietary compound called bis (pentabromophenyl) disulfide or PBDS added to the core delivers amazing resilience and initial ball velocity with low spin. The 330 dimple pattern combines high trajectory with a penetrating ball flight for stability in all cross winds and head winds. The soft and shear-resistant polyurethane cover means the Z-UR lands gently, and stops where it lands.
User Benefits
- An incredibly thin cover surrounding a very large core enhanced with PBDS for greater resilience and initial velocity
- Soft and durable urethane-elastomer cover provides pinpoint control and great feel with approach shots
- Newly developed 330 dimple pattern provides high trajectory with strong penetrating ball flight
Specifications
Construction: 3-Piece
Cover: Newly developed, high performance ultra-thin urethane-elastomer cover
Boundary Layer : High resilient ionomer
Dimple: High trajectory 330
Srixon Z-URS
Incredibly Long, Incredibly Soft Urethane Performance
The all New Srixon Z-URS shares the same technology platform as the revolutionary, tour proven Z-UR; the thinnest urethane-elastomer cover in the world – an astounding .020” thin, PBDS enhanced core, high velocity ionomer boundary layer, 330 based high trajectory aerodynamics. However, the engineers at Srixon have found a way to lower the core compression of the tour winning Z-UR by more than 10%, without sacrificing any of its performance features. The result is the new Z-URS. The lower overall compression provides a soft responsive feel and sound some players prefer, without sacrificing the explosive distance and short game playability you’ve come to expect from a multilayer tour performance ball.
Now there’s a choice. Players wanting the ultimate in tour winning performance in a softer feel can choose the new Z-URS. Those wanting a more solid feel can choose Z-UR. Choose either one and know that you’re in great company. Srixon staff players around the world are playing with and winning with both balls. What’s your choice?

Srixon AD 333
The new Srixon AD 333 features a brand new, proprietary Rabalon elastomer cover material that is 35% more resilient than Surlyn yet softer. It provides tremendous initial velocity with greenside playability and soft feel. The 333 aerodynamic dimple pattern improves low-speed lift for greater carry and a shallow angle of descent for more roll and overall distance. The Energetic Gradient Growth core delivers optimal high launch angle and low spin launch conditions.
User Benefits
- High initial ball velocity from the extremely resilient Rabalon elastomer cover
- Increased carry and shallow angle of descent for greater roll from the unique 333 aerodynamic pattern
- Soft feel, spin and control for excellent playability

Srixon Soft Feel
The new Srixon Soft Feel is the softest Srixon ball we've made. With the 333 dimple pattern and Rabalon? Cover, the Srixon Soft Feel incorporates tour proven performance in a low compression ball for the everyday golfer. First, the new Soft Feel features the softest Energetic Gradient Growth core ever designed. It promotes ideal high launch angle and low spin launch conditions for all golfers, while the low compression gives great feel and velocity to those with low swing speeds. The highly resilient Rabalon? cover, which is 25% more resilient than iomer, provides greater energy transfer for more velocity. The seamless 333 dimple pattern lets the Soft Feel stay in the air longer for greater carry, more roll, and more distance.
User Benefits
- Tremendous soft feel for all shots tee to green
- Exceptional driver distance with good approach iron spin
- Optimum performance for a wide range of golfers including those with low swing speeds
